Leasys UK has named Shane Coomber as its new managing director from 1 February, succeeding Matthew Boswell.

Coomber is currently marketing director of Leasys UK, which was formed in April 2023 from the original Leasys and Free2move Lease businesses as a 50/50 joint venture between Stellantis and Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance.

The appointment comes as Coomber marks 30 years within the Stellantis group, holding various positions within the former Groupe PSA.

Her career began in operational roles, before progressing into management in underwriting, dealer services areas and leadership of the UK Retailer Customer Services Team. She served as Free2Move UK’s operations director and commercial director, before her role as marketing director of Leasys UK from April 2023.

Coomber replaces Matthew Boswell, who headed up Leasys UK as managing director since April 2023, following its consolidation with Free2Move Lease.
