Lexus is offering a new online subscription service that enables drivers to sign up for models on a monthly basis.

The scheme, open now, is being operated in collaboration with specialist service provider Drover and is available across the UK mainland

The firm has become the latest carmaker to sign up to Drover to launch its scheme, which is dubbed Lexus One and open now.

Initially available across the UK mainland, the subscription service enables members to drive the car they want – from the RC Coupe to the RX SUV and IS saloon – for a single monthly payment. Every month they can choose to keep the car they have, choose a different model, or, if they wish, end their agreement.

The monthly charge includes the cost of vehicle delivery and collection, comprehensive insurance cover, routine servicing and maintenance when required and a weekly wash at a Lexus Centre. Drivers only need to pay for fuel and can take advantage of a 5p per litre discount where when using a BP fuel card.

All vehicles – which are between one and two years old – come with Lexus Roadside Assistance, should breakdown help be needed. An allowance of 1,000 miles a month is provided, which can be carried over if not used.
