Lightfoot expands fleet decarbonisation technology into France
Fleet decarbonisation and safety technology specialist Lightfoot has officially launched in the French market with a debut at Agora des Responsables de Flottes Automobiles 2024.
The expansion into the new territory spearheads plans for a wider launch across Europe and will help French fleets reduce emissions, increase range and improve fuel efficiency.
Lightfoot managing director Paul Hollick and newly appointed international sales channel director Donato Quagliariello outlined their plans for the French market, and how Lightfoot technology can address the key issues affecting fleets in the country.
Donato, who spent time as director in France for Quartix and sales and marketing director for Optimum Automotive, said: “It was clear at Agora des Responsables de Flottes Automobiles 2024 that French fleets are already advanced in decarbonisation, but they face challenges in continuing to hit targets set as part of the Mobility Orientation Law (LOM).
“Lightfoot can provide essential support for this challenge by helping to decarbonise existing diesel and petrol fleet vehicles through better fuel economy. Also, Lightfoot can help extend the range and improve the efficiency of new electric models, ensuring they are operationally effective.”
Lightfoot’s intelligent coaching technology also helps reduce accidents by improving driving standards.
Donato Quagliariello continued: “As well as decarbonisation, Lightfoot’s coaching technology has been proved to make driving for business safer, and with the number of road deaths in France not falling, it can help solve this safety problem.”
Paul Hollick, managing director at Lightfoot, added: “We have ambitious plans to expand the Lightfoot business across Europe, and France is a market which takes decarbonisation and safety very seriously.
“As a result, this is an exciting time to be discussing what Lightfoot can offer French fleets, because we know our innovative offering will provide operators with the data and insight to build safer and more efficient vehicle operations – we are a solution that is totally different in the market.
“Our platform integrates seamlessly with existing fleet and telematics systems, while we can also serve as a powerful stand-alone solution, combining in-cab driver coaching technology with an employee focused rewards app to deliver safety improvements and decarbonisation reductions for fleets – something we know is of paramount importance in all blue-chip companies in the French market.”
