Mazda has confirmed its attendance as an event partner at the 2024 Great British Fleet Event, giving fleets the chance to see its electrified SUV range in person.

Mazda will showcase its electrified SUV line-up at the 2024 Great British Fleet Event

At this year’s GBFE, which takes place on Wednesday 17 April at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes, Mazda will showcase its MX-30 R-EV range-extended crossover.

Described as a plug-in hybrid with a built-in charging station, it uses the carmaker’s legendary rotary engine technology to extend the electric experience.

Unlike other PHEVs, the petrol engine doesn’t power the wheels directly, but acts as a generator to charge the battery. This equates to uninterrupted electric driving while also delivering excellent driving dynamics.

Drivers also benefit from a 53-mile pure electric range, while the combined powertrain has a flexible total range of over 373 miles.

Also present at the show will be the Mazda CX-60 PHEV. The company’s first plug-in hybrid, the CX-60 also delivers the brand’s iconic Japanese craftmanship, stunning design and a host of driver-centric technologies.

Both these cars fall into the 8% Benefit-in-Kind tax bracket, making them a compelling proposition for company car drivers.

Mazda will also have fleet specialists at the show to talk about its full vehicle line-up – including the excellent whole-life costs, strong residual values, class-leading efficiency, unique driving dynamics and high levels of standard equipment.

As well as seeing Mazda’s EV range first-hand, fleets attending this April’s GBFE will be able to access a host of other leading-edge industry developments and solutions.

As with prior GBFE shows, the 2024 event offers a ‘3-in-1’ format of informative Masterclass conference sessions, a busy exhibition section and the follow-on prestigious awards ceremony – where the fleet sector’s pre-eminent operators and service firms will be recognised for their work.

More details will be announced in the coming weeks, but in the meantime please visit www.greatbritishfleetevent.co.uk, or contact 01727 739160 for further information.
