Mercedes Citan gets three stars in latest Euro NCAP safety tests

By / 12 years ago / News / No Comments

The recently launched van/MPV scored a three-star rating, with a 74% rating for adult safety, 69% for child safety, 56% for pedestrian safety and 33% for safety assist.

Euro NCAP commented: ‘The new Mercedes-Benz Citan Kombi fails to shine in a market segment poorly equipped for safety. With only electronic stability control scoring points in Safety Assist and lacklustre performance in other areas, the Renault Kangoo-derived van/MPV has failed to set itself apart from its competitors in Euro NCAP's safety tests.’
