In his new role, Mr Donaldson will be tasked with managing MyDrive’s continued growth, drawing upon his experience in applying financial acumen to rapidly growing businesses.

Mr Donaldson will be responsible for all commercial and financial activities at MyDrive Solutions, as well as managing the HR and Facilities functions.

Mr Donaldson has held senior finance roles in a number of large corporations within the technology and telecommunications industry. Prior to joining MyDrive Solutions, he was initially financial director Europe at AboveNet Communications, a leading fibre-optic communications provider. Before this, he was commercial finance director at global telecommunications provider, Verizon.

Speaking of his appointment at MyDrive Solutions, Mr Donaldson commented: ‘Having worked in the technology industry for 18 years, I relish this opportunity to further develop a nascent business like MyDrive. The management team has established MyDrive Solutions as an innovative and agile market leader in the insurance telematics industry. I look forward to utilising my financial and management skills to develop MyDrive into a truly global brand.’
