NAFA prepares for latest CAFM Boot Camp in Philadelphia
NAFA’s CAFM program is recognised as the industry standard, and symbolises that the fleet manager is an expert in his or her field.
To earn the status of Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM), fleet professionals must demonstrate their expertise by passing a series of comprehensive examinations that cover eight disciplines of automotive fleet management.
‘Boot Camps are intense forums where certification students can get face-to-face instruction on some of the more difficult concepts in the course materials,’ explained NAFA’s chief executive officer, Phillip E. Russo, CAE. ‘The Boot Camp is geared towards helping students prepare for their exams, while simultaneously helping them to become well-rounded and highly knowledgeable fleet professionals.’
NAFA’s CAFM Boot Camp provides a full three-day experience devoted to certification study where attendees can ask questions of the people who actually put the program together, NAFA’s Certification Board; engage in an interactive and informative discussion with others pursuing the program; and will have two testing opportunities for the price of one.
Subjects covered in the CAFM program include fleet information management, maintenance management, professional development, vehicle fuel management, asset management, business management, financial management, and risk management. In addition to the CAFM program, NAFA offers the CAFS certification, which gives candidates the option of selecting one of three discipline sets based on their education or employment needs.
Special early-bird discounts for early registrants ends on September 15, after which standard pricing goes into effect.
