The one-day pre-conference event will see expert mentors David T Hayward of Teva Pharmaceuticals; NAFA vice president Joseph LaRosa of Mercury Associates and formerly of Merck; and Andrzej Sacha, Nestlé Switzerland, winner of the 2015 Fleet Excellence Award for Excellence in Corporate Fleet Safety Award gather with small groups to facilitate learning, discussing a variety of global issues. Attendees will be invited to table their own questions and join in the discussion, lending experience to issues brought up by other participants.

Held as a pre-conference event on 18 April and leading into NAFA's Institute & Expo, the IFA offers insight into the world of global fleets, what to do when one's fleet duties suddenly gain global oversight, and how peers have navigated these changes. The conference will be held in Austin, Texas.

“As industries continue to grow beyond their borders, and merge with other companies around the globe, fleet professionals can quickly find they need specialized training,” said NAFA’s chief executive officer, Phillip E Russo. “NAFA’s IFA is the perfect venue at which to learn more and gain expert insight into the world of international fleets.”

Russo added: “Whether you are building the infrastructure for a global fleet, are moving from a traditional fleet background to a global dynamic, or are an experienced professional with a complex fleet that spans across numerous nations and cultures, NAFA’s International Fleet Academy will benefit you!”
