Nissan issues teaser pic of new Golf rival

The move marks its re-entry to the segment following the phasing out of the Almera. It also heralds the revival of the Pulsar name, which was first introduced in 1978 and was widely used for models in Asian and Australasian markets over the course of the last four decades.  

Few details have been given on the five-door hatchback but Nissan has released a teaser pic giving a few hints to how the front end will look and said it will be produced at its plant in Barcelona, Spain.

The model will be revealed in full next Tuesday (20th May) and goes on sale from the autumn.
