Ogilvie Fleet is returning to the Great British Fleet Event to reveal the innovations and service investments that are powering its growth.

Ogilvie’s fleet now numbers more than 22,000 on-risk vehicles – and the company is targeting 25,000 in the coming years

The leading independent leasing company, which has more than 40 years’ experience of supporting fleets, has grown its fleet size organically every year for the last decade and recently hit a new milestone. Its fleet now numbers more than 22,000 on-risk vehicles – and the company is targeting 25,000 in the coming years.

Growth has been achieved by a consistent investment in technology and customer service despite the wider industry uncertainties.

One of the biggest factors in its recent success has been the creation of the brand-new Driver Liaison Team. Launched in 2023 to a select group of customers and now expanded out to all, the service offers a dedicated team of staff to help drivers navigate the world of company cars. With expert knowledge of both vehicle and tax implications, the team directly help drivers order new vehicles – supporting, in particular, the move to electric vehicles.

So far, the team has helped over 500 drivers order new vehicles, avoiding questions that would normally fall on the desk of fleet managers and simplifying fleet management.

Ogilvie has also doubled its Salary Sacrifice team in size over the last year and expanded the daily rental team to keep up with demand.

Alongside its investment in people, Ogilvie Fleet continues to invest in its tech-driven applications and software systems that it provides to both customers and the open market.

These include the Happy Drivers mobile app, the MiNextEV electric vehicle database and the time-saving lead time generator tool, which predicts lead times of new orders down to make and model.

At GBFE 2024, which takes place next week on 17 April at the Marshall Arena, Milton Keynes, Ogilvie will highlight these innovations and more to visitors as part of the immersive exhibition section. Attendees will also be able to benefit from the wide-ranging Masterclass Conference programme and extensive networking opportunities, while the evening will bring a glitzy ceremony and dinner where the winners of the Great British Fleet Awards will be revealed.
