In his new role, Mr Eyden is responsible for increasing sales of rental vehicles to large international daily rental customers and for all aspects of their remarketing. He reports to Ian Hucker, director European fleet sales and commercial vehicles.

Mr Eyden was previously UK rental manager at Vauxhall Motors for six years, and prior to that held the position of national sales manager – used vehicle sales for four years.  He began his career with Vauxhall in January 1998 as a national account manager within the Fleet Sales division.

‘I am delighted to announce Kris’s new appointment and to welcome someone with his extensive experience in rental and remarketing to the senior management team at Opel Fleet,’ said Ian Hucker.

‘He brings with him a huge amount of experience in this area gained from his time in the UK and we are certain he will prove to be a real asset to the Opel Fleet business,’ he added.

Mr Eyden said he was looking forward to the new challenge ‘enormously’.

‘All my experience in rental and remarketing has been gained in the UK market, so I’m particularly looking forward to delivering my skills on a wider playing field and making a full contribution to the senior team at Opel Fleet,’ he commented.
