Mr Zagorianakos will be responsible for the markets of Ireland, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Czech Republic and the United Arab Emirates as well as retaining his current duties.

LeasePlan added that LeasePlan Hellas’ successful operating model, which combines very high growth rates with positive financial results, was a key factor to this decision.

LeasePlan Hellas started its activity in 2003 and during these 14 years, under the direction of Philippos Zagorianakos, has solidly progressed.

Mr Zagorianakos said: “It is a great pleasure and honour to undertake such an important and demanding position while maintaining my role as managing director of LeasePlan Hellas. Our goal in LeasePlan was and remains the operational excellence and customer-centric innovation so that our customers enjoy the best services and the best customer care that is offered exclusively by the LeasePlan Group.”
