PwC UK appoints automotive lead in ‘rapidly changing and disrupted’ market
PwC UK has appointed Dom Tribe as its automotive sector leader, strengthening its support for a “rapidly changing and disrupted” market.
Tribe succeeds Cara Haffey, who was appointed PwC UK industrials & services leader last autumn, and brings over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry.
Prior to joining PwC in 2024, he was a partner at Vendigital, a Siemens business, where he led the mobility practice, collaborating with many of the UK’s automotive OEMs, EV startups, dealer groups and suppliers.
He also spent more than a decade in industry, firstly at Ford Motor Company in various management roles before moving to McLaren Automotive, where he served as head of procurement and supply chain.
His appointment comes as the automotive sector continues to deal with unprecedented change, marked by the continued advancement of electric and autonomous vehicles and rapidly changing customer preferences.
Tribe said: “It’s an incredibly exciting and transformative time for the industry, which is navigating the drive for electrification, digital innovation, and supply chain evolution, while also driving ongoing convergence with adjacent sectors across the wider mobility ecosystem.
“Additionally, the sector is dealing with the complexity of product mix – whether regarding models, technology, or consumer purchasing methods – alongside the evolution of market competition, as global brands continue to chase market share in multiple territories.”
