Renault previews new Scenic and Megane Sport Tourer

By / 9 years ago / News / No Comments

The Scenic arrives 20 years after the first-generation model, continuing a family of compact MPVs which has sold around five million units worldwide.

Previewed by the R-Space concept car from 2011, expect engines to include the dCi 110 diesel offering CO2 emissions of less than 100g/km – this could also eventually include the diesel mild-hybrid destined for the Megane next year.

Alongside the Scenic, the Megane Sport Tourer adds the second bodystyle to Renault’s familiar C-segment model, and this will be shown in GT form. It will be the only car in the segment with 4CONTROL four-wheel steering, but only on the RenaultSport-tuned GT trim.
