Renault’s chief operating officer stands down

The company said that Mr Tavares is pursing ‘other personal projects’.

In a statement, Renault CEO and chairman Carlos Ghosn thanked Mr Tavares for ‘successfully contributing to the results of the company throughout his career’.

The company said that it would be adapting the organisation of the management, with an announcement due shortly. In the meantime, Mr Ghosn will temporarily carry out the duties of chief operating officer.
