Russia’s GAZ Group starts sales in Georgia

GAZ Group, part of diversified industrial group Basic Element, has announced the start of GAZ vehicles sales in Georgia.

GAZelle Next LCVs will be supplied to Georgia either with Cummins ISF 2.8 diesel engines or with EvoTech 2.7 gasoline engines, GAZon Next MDT's will be supplied with YAMZ-534 diesel engines.

Other vehicles launched include GAZelle Business, Sobol Business (including AWD versions), GAZ-3309, Sadko GAZ-3308.

Development of export sales is one of the priority tasks for our company and it allows not only increasing production volumes, but also diversifying the sales markets and insuring against exchange rate fluctuations.’ 

The personnel of Strada Auto company, a GAZ dealer in Georgia, have received special training and been certified to comply with GAZ standards regarding sales as well as servicing of all vehicle types.

David Zautashvili, general director of Strada Auto, said: ‘GAZelle Next features excellent handling, a high level of the driver's comfort, favorably compares to its competitors in terms of pricing and has a long warranty. We expect this vehicle to be a huge success both among private entrepreneurs and among corporate customers.’
