Troncalnet and Scope Technology will develop solutions for the Mexican fleet industry.

The collaboration between the two firms has been in place since 2007, providing vehicle control, monitoring and recovery services.

Under the new three and four-year deals, CARSSA Courier Company, Grupo Autofin de Monterrey, FAMSA and Altos Hornos de Mexico (AHMSA) will all receive tailored end-to-end fleet management solutions along with stolen vehicle recovery services managed by Troncalnet’s CNR Center (Centro Nacional de Respuesta) which operates 24/7.

The agreement with CARSSA will specialise in tracking deliveries using Troncalnet’s web MZone related logistics software to provide scheduled routes and closely monitor item delivery.

In addition, AHMSA, an established steel producer in the country, will use software to manage the number of journeys taken. This will ensure accuracy and increase efficiency for the firm’s fleet management.

Scope Technologies and Troncalnet already have deals in place with AFA, the fast-growing automotive self-financing company in the north of the country, as well as Famsa Credito Automotriz, a division of leading consumer credit Group Famsa.

Monty Nussbaum, chief executive of Scope Technologies, said: “Troncalnet are pioneers in the Mexican logistics, tracking and fleet management sector with more than 20,000 units installed across the country. We are delighted to continue our partnership with such an experienced and innovative firm. With deals already in place, our technology will allow Mexican companies to closely track and manage their different fleets and offer end-to-end UBI products. With local market conditions, the partnership has great potential to grow, building on the base of satisfied customers targeting new regions and companies.”
