Fleet World has revealed the contenders for the Great British Fleet Awards’ Fleet Manager and Supplier accolades, as the countdown continues to this year’s ceremony.

The Great British Fleet Awards will be the finale to the 2024 Great British Fleet Event

Following a record number of industry entries, the judging panel has whittled the shortlist down to six fleet managers and 22 fleet service firms. All are vying to take the top titles at the glitzy event on 17 April – which will also reveal the UK’s top cars, EVs and vans for fleets.

Among the Fleet Manager trophies, Hoare Lea and Edrington are battling it out for the Eco Superstar accolade, which is sponsored by Geotab UK Ltd. Meanwhile, Platform Housing and City Plumbing are rivalling for the Financial Superstar title, sponsored by Leasys UK Ltd. Then there’s the Fleet Management Superstar prize, sponsored by Northgate and hotly contested by Smith Brother Stores and Enviro-Clean.

The Supplier Innovation Awards bring a diverse list of names, including Geotab and FORS – both in the running for Innovation in Risk Management – while Trakm8 is wrestling with Holman for Innovation in Cost Reduction. Both epyx | Autoserve are up for the Remarketing prize, sponsored by MG Motor, and Northgate and Fleetondemand are in contention for the Mobility gong, sponsored by Honda.

The Innovation awards also include the category for Customer Service, sponsored by Mazda and chosen by members of the Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP).
