Škoda’s new Amazon showroom goes live with real-time vehicle availability
Škoda UK has gone live with an Amazon car showroom that offers real-time new car stock availability where customers are.

Said to be a first for a European carmaker, the venture enables UK customers to browse the brand’s full range, check local availability, request a test drive and explore finance options. Drivers can then visit their chosen Škoda dealer to make a purchase and drive home in as little as two to four weeks.
The online Škoda showroom showcases the brand’s complete model range, from the compact Fabia supermini, to the Kodiaq family SUV, as well as its fully electric models, including the new Elroq and Enyaq.
Škoda said the new ‘click to drive’ experience reflects customer habits, blending “online discovery with trusted dealership support”.
The carmaker’s latest research finds that while almost half (47%) of Brits value the convenience of online research when buying a car, 82% still prefer to visit a car dealership when completing the purchase, citing expert knowledge and personal support as key reasons for seeking a physical experience.

It gives prospective customers more opportunities to find their next car and see where it’s available, all from the comfort of their home.”
