Smart Telematics acquisition provides Intelligent Telematics with route into Ireland

By / 11 years ago / News / No Comments

Smart Telematics currently consults and supplies vehicle journey recorders and accident cameras to insurance companies and brokers, vehicle tracking organisations and end-users.

The new deal will give it access to Intelligent Telematics’ range of solutions including the recently launched IT 1000 and IT 500 vehicle cameras which utilise video, telematics and 3/4G technologies.

Sam Footer, head of International business and strategic development at Intelligent Telematics, commented: ‘Smart Telematics is a likeminded business that expands our presence in the UK and Ireland as well as supporting our future growth into continental Europe. We are committed to creating a global infrastructure by the end of the year through a network of owned and partner organisations. This already includes a dedicated office in Brisbane covering Australasia and plans to launch an operation in Chicago during February for the North American marketplace.’
