Targa Telematics is now able to integrate seamlessly with Ford commercial vehicles and passenger cars under a new strategic partnership.

Targa can now directly integrate with Ford commercial vehicles and passenger cars

The agreement will provide fleet managers and drivers with an increasing number of digital services, simplifying the provisioning process in vehicles.

Targa, a tech company specialising in the development of IoT solutions and digital platforms for connected mobility, can now integrate Ford data streams directly in its platform, enabling action on performance-related information alongside new mobility services.

It’s the latest in Targa’s growing number of strategic partnerships with major car manufacturers and the firm says it consolidates its market leadership in global fleet data management and integration.

Alberto Falcione, Targa’s vice president sales, commented: “We aim to integrate the data streams generated by each manufacturers’ in-vehicle systems to develop increasingly innovative connected mobility solutions.”

He added: “The central element of this process is our proprietary ‘hardware-agnostic’ platform, which is a next-generation technology that can collect, integrate and study car data independently of the car manufacturer, simplifying the adoption of telematics technologies and reducing the impact of device installation.”
