The teaser shot doesn’t reveal much but Nissan has said that the new model will bring in advanced aerodynamics with sector-first technologies and state-of-the-art cabin infotainment systems. It also promises that it ‘will redefine the crossover sector and set new standards across the board’ whilst building on the strengths of the original model.
According to reports the new model is set to bring in a new 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine.
The original Qashqai has proved a huge success for Nissan with sales to over 2.0 million drivers around the world.
