Telematics firm The Floow to drive business in EMEA under new appointment
Manfredi Di Cintio has joined telematics firm The Floow as business development director for the EMEA region.
The company offers a range of fleet solutions globally including device-fitted, plug-in device and smartphone-based propositions, all enabling operators to record journeys and score driver behaviour. It also works with insurers worldwide with its telematics data management platform scooping the coveted Prince Michael International Road Safety Award last year in recognition of the impact of its technology in influencing driver behaviour – working in partnership with the UK insurer, Direct Line Group.
Mr Di Cintio joins the company as it embarks on a major recruitment drive that’s expected to see the company grow to more than 100 employees over the next 12 months. He brings more than 15 years of European sales and business development experience to his role, having worked with software and intelligence providers like Bloomberg New Energy Finance and CEB (now part of Gartner).
“Telematics is a key area that’s helping to enable the digital transformation of the insurance, fleet and motor manufacturing industries. I see massive opportunities to help our customers innovate and deliver smarter and safer mobility for everyone. I’m excited by the opportunity to position The Floow’s unique capabilities and insights in software, data science and driver behaviour to customers in the region,” he commented.
