TomTom Telematics strengthens position in Dutch fleet management market with acquisition of Fleetlogic

This acquisition includes the companies TripXs and Inalise and adds 27,000 subscriptions to the TomTom Telematics installed base. The total installed base of TomTom Telematics now consists of more than 450,000 vehicles.

TomTom Telematics said the acquisition strengthens its position as the market leader in the Netherlands and in Europe.

‘The fleet management market in the Netherlands is an important and fast growing market in Europe,’ said Thomas Schmidt, managing director TomTom Telematics. ‘Adding the experience of Fleetlogic in enterprise fleets and government sales, we now address the full potential of this growing market.’

No further details of the acquisition are disclosed.
