TouchStar to launch new TransPac mobility app

The app, which will be demoed at expo PetroTrans in Germany on 1st October, marks TouchStar’s first release in its “Next Generation Mobility” dual Android/Windows platform.

The TransPac solution has traditionally been delivered on a ruggedised handheld device and is designed to eliminate paper processes for any LP gas delivery, fuel delivery or van sales organisation.

The solution has been designed to simplify delivery data capture, with drivers entering information directly into the application which automatically calculates volume delivered and prints delivery tickets and invoices while still on site.

TransPac can also be integrated with fleet tracking, dispatch and planning applications, providing a fully automated SaaS-based fleet management solution for fleets of any size.

‘We are delighted to offer this full-service Android app to our customers who are increasingly looking to mobile technology to improve fleet and driver efficiency,’ said Robert Pabeschitz, TouchStar chief technology officer. ‘With the same features and functionality of our legacy application, this new app is delivered on a platform that many drivers are already familiar and comfortable with, and reduces the number of devices needed in the cab.’
