Toyota confirms RAV4 hybrid

By / 10 years ago / News / No Comments

It will be the sixth hybrid in the European range, offered alongside the Yaris, Auris hatchback and Wagon Sports, Prius and Prius+. Hybrids accounted for almost a quarter (23.1%) of the brand’s UK sales last year.

The carmaker has yet to reveal which of its hybrid drivetrains will be used, but the RAV4 shares its platform with the Lexus NX 300h, which features a system with a 2.5-litre petrol engine and the option to add an electric motor at the rear axle for four-wheel drive.
