Toyota’s Yuko carsharing scheme brings access to a fleet of 49 vehicles in Venice

Already available in Dublin, Ireland and Forlì, Italy, the scheme goes live to the public in Venice with a fleet of 49 hybrid Toyotas, ranging from the Toyota Yaris Hybrid to the Prius Plug-in Hybrid.

Drivers can register and book online and then use their Smart Card to access the car. They also have a  choice of picking up and returning the car to the same spot or using the freefloating Yuko Way service and leaving at any parking space in the city centre.

Customers can also use ‘Venezia Unica’, Venice’s official City Pass, to begin and end the journey, allowing customers to easily switch between public and private transport, and also get free access to the traffic restricted areas and to paid parking areas.
