Arval Consulting, a subsidiary of BNP Paribas, has announced two key appointments at management level.

The company specialises in the rental of multi-brand vehicles and associated services. Hervé Girardot has promoted to the role of international director of Arval Consulting and Bernard Blanco has been appointed human resources director of the Arval Group.

Girardot gained 13 years of experience in the corporate vehicle rental industry with GE Fleet Services, acquired by the Arval Group in 2015. He held the position of operations director of fleet for France from 2010-2015, and was instrumental in the integration of GE Fleet Services at Arval in Germany.

He is a graduate of ESSEC Business School in Paris, and holds a Master’s Degree in Law Business and Commerce from the Panthéon Assas University, also in Paris.

Blanco has more than 25 years’ experience in the areas of human resources and management. He joined the BNP Paribas Group in 2002, with BNP Paribas Real Estate. He then held the positions of director of International, and deputy managing director for Italy.
