Car-based mobility solutions provider Ubeeqo is the recipient of this year’s ‘European Car Sharing Customer Value Leadership Award’ from the global consulting firm Frost & Sullivan. The award recognises excellence in the car sharing and fleet management sector.

Ubeeqo’s car sharing platform gives the user the choice between local minicab, car club and car rental services.

Ubeeqo  needed to be successful in two key categories, ‘Customer Impact’ and ‘Business Impact’ to secure the award.

The brand performed strongly in the Customer Impact category, with good results in sub-categories including cost/benefit ratio, customer service and ownership experience. In the Business Impact category, too, it achieved a “very good” rating from Frost & Sullivan in criteria such as customer acquisition, operational efficiency, growth potential and human capital.

The European market for car sharing firms is steadily increasing. Ubeeqo’s car sharing platform gives the user the choice between local minicab, car club and car rental services, with the ultimate aim of ending car ownership in urban areas in a near future.

Since the arrival of Europcar Group as a majority shareholder, Ubeeqo has accelerated its development in France and expanded to Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Spain and Italy.
