Following the departure of David Maloney to become managing director of Volkswagen Financial Services in Australia, Mike Todd has been appointed to the role of Business Development director joining the board of management.

Graham Wheeler, managing director of Volkswagen Financial Services, said; ‘The Business Development role is a challenging position within the business ensuring VWFS remains at the forefront of innovation within our industry.

‘Mike's understanding of both our business and the industry as a whole made him the stand out candidate for this appointment. His industry knowledge and strategic planning will be vital as VWFS aims to become the top Automotive Finance Company in the UK.’

Prior to joining VWFS in 2000 Mike spent 10 years with the Lombard Group, becoming regional manager for the Motor Division in the South West. Since joining VWFS Mike has undertaken a number of roles, including his most recent appointment as Head of Sales where he was responsible the delivery of the business results through the leadership of the sales management team and recently reengineering the sales department so that it can meet the future ambitions for the business.
