Teaser images of the front and rear have been released.

The new model will sit above the Passat, replacing the previous CC model that was a popular fleet staple.

The teaser images show the model’s completely new front end, which merges the LED headlights and daytime running lights with the radiator grille and bonnet to create a completely new front end. It also brings a more striking shoulder section.

VW also says the interior is exceptionally spacious – with ample head and leg room at all seats.

No engine details have been revealed, however it’s likely that the Arteon will bring a line-up of 2.0 TDI engines and a possible GTE version.

Equipment features will include the latest generation of driver assistance systems.
