The brand’s top-selling model and one of the best-selling plug-in hybrids in Europe, the XC60 follows its larger XC90 sibling in the rollout of latest changes.

These include the arrival of a new larger 11.2-inch, free-standing central touchscreen featuring greater pixel density for a crisper display and giving access to new features, apps and over-the-air updates.

It’s underpinned by Volvo’s latest user experience, already seen in the XC90 along with the EX90 and EX30 electric cars and rolling out across all new Volvo models. It’s designed to provide an easier way to interact with the car’s central infotainment screen, cutting driver distraction and with several Google services built in.

The XC60 also gets a faster, more responsive infotainment system thanks to the next-generation Snapdragon Cockpit Platform from Qualcomm Technologies, said to be more than twice as fast as the outgoing system, with 10 times faster graphics generation.

The interior also gains refreshed decors, inlays and new premium materials, along with new cupholders and an improved wireless phone charger.

Onboard technologies include a Bowers & Wilkins High Fidelity system with new speaker mesh design, premium air-purification technology and laminated windows while the XC60 can also be equipped with optional air suspension.

Exterior changes include a new grille, already seen on the XC90, darker rear lights and updated wheel options.

Engine line-up is carried over and includes the mild-hybrid petrol B5 along with the plug-in hybrid.

Deliveries of the refreshed XC60 start in Q3 2025.
