The new model will include Intelligent Driveline Dynamics and Instinctive All Wheel Drive to 'provide F-Type R drivers with improved traction and confidence in a variety of road conditions'. The F-Type R all-wheel drive sprints from zero-60 mph in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 186mph.

The LA Auto Show will also see the US debut of the new Land Rover Discovery Sport, bringing a dynamic design with a compact footprint and optional seven-passenger seating in a "5+2" configuration. The model will also bring performance, safety and efficiency, thanks to a body shell of high-strength steel and lightweight aluminium, a 240PS turbocharged 2.0-litre engine, nine-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive.

And to celebrate the debut West Hollywood will get its first Land Rover Experience centre, complete with urban off-roading, from November 18-23.

In addition, Jaguar Land Rover will announce a breakthrough new in-car technology at the Connected Car Expo.
