Forming part of the celebration of its one million vehicles milestone, ALD International and ALD France, in partnership with Ford of Europe, have donated a vehicle to the “Apprentis d’ Auteuil” Foundation, for the transportation of youngsters.

The vehicle was a brand-new Ford Tourneo Custom, the passenger-carrying version of the latest version of Ford’s light commercial vehicle.

Apprentis d’Auteuil (Apprentices of Auteuil) is a French foundation of public utility, which educates and forms over 15,000 young people in family, social and school difficulty and which carries out an international cooperation policy in 45 countries with partners sharing the same values.

The donation comes as ALD Automotive celebrates the milestone of managing one million vehicles around the world on the back of strong growth in 2013

A spokesman for ALD Automotive said the donation ‘was a good way to associate the charity to this celebration, and it was natural to do it in partnership with Ford of Europe’.
