APD appoints new MD
Automotive research specialist APD Global Research has appointed a new managing director for the UK as it also reports record results for 2018.
Kathryn Courtenay-Evans has been promoted to the role from her current position as commercial director. The role will include the remit to grow the utility and non-automotive client base as well as running the UK business on a daily basis reporting to executive chairman Paul Turner. As announced earlier this year, Turner is combining his role as MD of APD Australia alongside his position as executive chairman of APD UK to strengthen links between the UK and Australian management teams.
Meanwhile, Karl Fisher has been to promoted client services director from operations director to support existing customers and grow new automotive client opportunities. He will also be identifying and implementing client change based on research project findings.
Following the two promotions Rob Whalley has moved to the position of director.
The changes come as APD reports a 32% rise in revenue for 2018, driven by the emerging B2C leasing and broker sectors.
“Uptake has been particularly high in the broker sectors and with the emerging B2C leasing sector as it adapts to the changes in business driver use,” explained Paul Turner.
