The firm said the performance is the result of the transformations programmes that have been implemented for the last two years by the group, and also follows the launch of its latest, innovative and tailored products for professional, SME or large corporate customers.

Earlier this year Arval announced that it was celebrating its 25th anniversary with expanded and standardised services worldwide including a new medium-term lease offer.

Intended to complement the firm’s ‘very-long-term’ lease product, the new Mid-Term Rental solution is being launched in the UK, Spain and the Netherlands with further markets to follow.

In addition, Arval is rolling out its Driver Solutions in all its main markets and is also speeding up its investments in telematics and will start rolling out a uniform offer in all of its subsidiaries, with a strong emphasis on data privacy.

Commenting on the latest news, Philippe Bismut, Arval CEO, said: ‘This very symbolic figure shows that we are on the right track with the 4% leased fleet growth in 2014 we announced in March.’
