BMW has confirmed its next BMW i branded vehicle will be the i4.

BMW i Vision Dynamics

The BMW i Vision Dynamics concept will form the base for the forthcoming BMW i4

The Bavarian company will build its next BMW i model at its factory in Munich. BMW has not yet released much detail of the car, but has stated it will be based upon the iVision Dynamics concept shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year.

“By 2025, our global vehicle portfolio will include 25 fully- or part-electric models. At last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, we unveiled our take on the future of e‑mobility with the BMW i Vision Dynamics. This vehicle will become reality: we will build it in Munich – as the BMW i4,” Harald Krüger, BMW’s chairman of the board of management, said.

In 2017, the BMW Group sold more than 100,000 electrified vehicles.
