Bynx re-engineers accident management module in latest software release
Fleets can now benefit from more proactive accident management under the latest updates to the Bynx software for operators.
The firm’s vehicle fleet, leasing and mobility management platform already enables businesses to control costs, streamline business and manage vehicles and mobility services more efficiently.
The latest Bynx 12.14 release builds on this with a raft of new developments, including by re-engineering the Accident Management module. This has now been completely reimagined to a user ‘task’ based platform, ensuring each step in the process is controlled, from initial driver accident notification capture and FNOL, through to repair completion.
This enables the proactive management of the whole process, including app-based driver engagement with image and video damage capture. The module also includes a rules engine, which gives greater control over end-customer needs through simplified configuration.
As well as the completely re-engineered accident management module, the new Bynx version brings enhanced maintenance management. New updates include customer repair authorisation and monitoring as well as functionality enabling a range of features including increased use of images and video capture.
Furthermore, the latest Bynx updates include simplified access to emissions data and the inclusion of more user guides within Bynx itself.
The release also includes continuous functionality enhancements to the maintenance module, and improved reporting through the lifecycle of a vehicle, contract or reservation. Benefits include better control over fuel card transactions.
Bynx has also further enhanced its WLTP API in preparation for the latest price and specification updates from the leading suppliers. And there are improvements to contract management to further distinguish between B2C, B2B and international customers.
