As part of the expansion, Chevin has recruited Marco Bakker as a new project manager in its Belgium office, effective 2 March 2016.

In the UK, the firm has appointed Peter Ormsby as its new operations director, with responsibility for overseeing software development and implementation projects, as well as leading a number of key global developments.

Ormsby brings with him a great deal of relevant experience both as an IT director and company founder, having most recently worked in the business of mobile verification and SMS distribution.

The company said his strong experience and knowledge of IT and mobile technologies will help Chevin with the ongoing implementation of its fleet management software, including its enterprise level fleet management system, FleetWave, and smartphone and tablet-based mobile fleet software, FleetWave Mobile.

The UK appointments also see Lewis Woolley employed as junior software support while Salman Khan has taken up the role of apprentice quality assurance engineer.

Managing director Ashley Sowerby said: “Chevin puts a lot of thought into its team to ensure that we always provide professional services and high standards. I am delighted to welcome each of our new team members.”
