Citroën has officially expanded its electric vehicle line-up with the debut of the ë-C3 Tonic.

This new special-edition model is engineered to make the transition to electric driving simpler, more affordable and highly appealing for everyday urban drivers.

Building on the foundation of the entry-level ‘You’ trim, the Tonic edition brings bold exterior design and exclusive styling elements. Features include roof rails and a rear spoiler from higher grades, a two-tone roof available in Aden Red or Perla Nera Black, Yellow Lemon Color Clips on the front bumper and Tonic decals. Drivers can choose from Blanc Banquise or Noir Perla Nera body colours.

Onboard tech delivers a 10.25-inch colour touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

Depending on their needs, customers can choose between two versions.

The most affordable option, the ë-C3 Urban Range, is equipped with a 30kWh battery, offering up to 128 miles of WLTP range and DC fast-charging capability up to 30kW.

Sitting above this, the ë-C3 Comfort Range is equipped with a 44 kWh battery, offering up to 192 miles of range and DC fast-charging capability of up to 100kW.

Prices are yet to be revealed but Citroën says they will be “particularly competitive”. The ë-C3 Tonic is not expected to be sold in the UK.
