Cox launches podcast series for fleet and auto sector
Cox Automotive has introduced an all-new podcast, Talk Auto, bringing together expertise from manufacturers, fleets and retailers to shed insights on the ever-evolving world of automotive in the UK.
Each episode will feature experts from across the automotive industry, sharing their thoughts, experiences and opinions on where the industry stands today and where it may be headed tomorrow in under an hour.
Joining the guests are the podcast’s hosts, Ben Dixon and Holly Mottram, both part of the Cox Automotive team.
“Talk Auto is all about cutting through the noise,” said Dixon. “The automotive industry is in uncharted territory, with new challenges and opportunities emerging all the time. We want to give listeners real, honest conversations with people who live and breathe automotive, so they can stay informed and better understand the forces shaping the future of the sector.”
Mottram picked up: “We hope Talk Auto will spark new conversations across our industry as we explore perspectives from every corner of the sector. Whether you’re in retail, fleet, or manufacturing, there’s something here for anyone passionate about the future of mobility.”
The first episode, available online now, features Richard Aucock, director of Motoring Research and editor of Auto Retail Network, alongside Philip Nothard, insight and strategy director at Cox Automotive Europe.
The duo discuss the state of the market, diving into how changes to the Employee Car Ownership Scheme could impact the face of the new car market, the ongoing battle surrounding electric vehicle residual values and the outlook for the market for the next three to six months.
Episodes will be published monthly across all major streaming platforms, including Apple, Spotify and Amazon.
