Daimler to build engine plant in Poland

The new plant will be sited in Jawor and will produce engines under the responsibility of the newly established company Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland.

The factory marks the first production site of Mercedes-Benz Cars in Poland and will produce four-cylinder engines for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars.

Production at the new Daimler site is scheduled to start in 2019. Construction is due to begin in 2017.
