Rental and leasing firm Drivalia is to deploy Fleet Procure’s Stock Manager system in the UK to manage tactical deals through its growing broker partner network.

Drivalia UK will use Fleet Procure’s Stock Manager system to manage tactical deals through its growing broker partner network

The digital real-time stock management system records the status of a car from order through to delivery at every stage.

“We’re just at the point in our launch journey as a leasing business where tactical sales are the next step. To execute these offer deals effectively, we need an end-to-end platform for brokers and dealers. We think Fleet Procure is the best out there,” said Simon Leake, national broker sales manager at Drivalia.

Stock Manager can manage cancelled orders quickly and effectively and get the vehicles back on sale instantly, making it a live stock viewer that’s unique in the market place according to Fleet Procure.

Lee Jones, managing director, explained: “Stock Manager has been built specifically to allow funders to track the uploaded vehicle stock’s status from order to delivery with online alerts for cancelled orders that come back into the system.

“Other stock systems rely on human intervention and often spreadsheets being updated, but human error can often lead to large numbers of funded vehicles sitting at a dealership for months before the leasing company realises they are cancelled orders remaining unsold. Fleet Procure Stock Manager takes away the human error aspect and the need for human intervention.”

Leake said he expected to launch 20 Drivalia-led tactical deals through Stock Manger during its first full year in operation among the company’s current 18 live broker partners. By the end of the year, this is planned to increase to 25 broker partners.

The Fleet Procure platform, which allows brokers to procure live vehicles from participating dealers, would also be available to Drivalia’s brokers, added Leake.

Duncan Green, recently appointed commercial operations director at Drivalia, added: “From my point of view, we need to continue reassuring the market that we’re investing in the business and letting brokers know that we are simple to do business with. We have great customer service and we want to make sure that we deliver on that. Fleet Procure Stock Manager will help us in this.”
