The 4S is the fourth model to join the carmaker’s line-up in China, alongside the DS 5, DS 5 LS and DS6 – and is designed in France and produced at the Shenzhen production facility in China.

The model – which is longer than the DS 4 sold in Europe – will be offered with a choice of turbocharged petrol engines, with output ranging from 136hp to 204hp and solely available with the brand’s EAT6 automatic gearbox.

The interior will bring a leather door panels and door panels, while the seats feature ‘watchstrap-style’ upholstery.

Technology includes the DS Connect technology with navigation, safety and communication functions.
