eDriving appoints vice president of strategic partnerships
Driver risk management specialist eDriving has appointed Eric Shishko as vice president of strategic partnerships.
Shishko brings a strong background in promoting the use of behavioural-based risk management in the telematics market. He served most recently as finance and compliance leader for UBI at Willis Towers Watson. He was CEO and co-founder of StreetOwl, a specialist in smartphone-based driver behavior and new customer acquisition, and prior to that, was head of global operations for the Towers Watson UBI team. He has also served as senior VP, insurance and strategic alliances, for GreenRoad, executive VP of DriveCam, president and CEO of Newstar Solutions and president of Maestro Commerce.
In his new role, he will facilitate key strategic partner relationships and spearhead new business development around the world.
Ed Dubens, CEO and Founder of eDriving, commented: “Eric has led the implementation of behavioural-based driver safety programs with a number of national and global commercial insurance companies, as well as the world’s largest commercial broker. Considered one of the leading experts on behavioral-based commercial telematics programs, his expertise and passion will be invaluable to eDriving as we further strengthen our position as a leading provider of driver behavior-based telematics. I’m delighted to welcome him to the leadership team.”
Shishko added: “Having been actively involved in telematics for more than 15 years at the intersection of technology, behavior and insurance, I’m excited to join eDriving where the company’s approach to risk management centers around a system that provides behavioral insights and actionable intelligence to reduce risk using smartphone-based telematics. As insurers seek innovative ways to incorporate behavior-based telematics to customers, this is an exciting opportunity to apply my experience to help strengthen existing relationships and identify new partnership channels.”
