Fleet Logistics launches QuickScan benchmarking service for large fleets

By / 10 years ago / News / No Comments

Called QuickScan, the product has been developed in response to requests from large fleet operators to discuss how their fleets compared with others of similar size and profile.

QuickScan is available to all fleet operators with a minimum fleet size of 1,000 cars, and offers them the opportunity to benchmark their fleets against those of their peers. The facility then goes on to identify areas of potential cost and efficiency optimisation, helping fleet operators to run their fleets more efficiently.

Any fleets interested in participating will be sent a detailed questionnaire to complete with details of their fleet. Each response received by Friday 27 February next year to the email address [email protected] will then be reviewed by fleet management specialists at Fleet Logistics.

The outcome of the analysis will then be presented via one conference call back to the fleet operator. The service will operate on a first come, first served basis, based on the date of the receipt of the completed questionnaire.

QuickScan is an extension of the fleet consultancy service that Fleet Logistics launched at the start of this year. Heading up the service is Thibault Alleyn, director of fleet and mobility consulting, who said: ‘It became apparent to us that there were a large number of international fleet operators who were very interested in a high level benchmarking of their fleets against those of their peers, both in terms of size and demographic type.

‘The launch of QuickScan is in response to that demand, and we will endeavour to provide a high level benchmarking exercise for each completed fleet data questionnaire we receive.

‘We will also pinpoint areas for potential improvement including areas of optimisation and efficiencies,’ he said.

If a more indepth review is requested, additional topics are asked to be analysed, or if business cases are to be developed to quantify improvement areas, these are optional extras that are chargeable.
