Travelcard is a leading player in the Dutch fuel card market with more than 295,000 fuel cards in use. It is the only independent fuel card provider in the Netherlands, with its universal fuel card accepted at all fuel stations across the country, as well as at more than 1,500 stations in Belgium and Luxembourg.

In the Netherlands, the card can also be used to pay for other services such as charging of electric and hybrid cars, parking, car wash, maintenance and roadside assistance.

FleetCor is an independent global provider of fuel cards and specialised payment products and services including fleet cards, food cards/vouchers, corporate lodging discount cards and other payment services for businesses.

FleetCor has pledged to honour existing commitments to Travelcard staff and ensure continuity for current clients using a Travelcard fuel card.

Financial details of the deal are yet to be disclosed.
