Fleetster & Zurich Insurance team up for corporate car sharing product with EV module

By / 10 years ago / News / No Comments

Fleetster is already well known for its web-based corporate car sharing software and said that it has often been asked for a suitable insurance.

Teaming up with Zurich district directorate Detlev Knoll, the firm has launched the new package which covers the private use of pool vehicles by employees, as well the common usage of vehicles in company networks and the possibility to rent the car to third parties, for example in business parks.

The firms add that attractive conditions for new cars will be available while an extra module for electric vehicles helps to leverage their advantages for business car sharing: high utilisation even allows for cost-savings in comparison to traditional cars.

The product is initially being launched in Germany but Zurich Insurance says that, following extensive interest, it is taking action to make it accessible throughout Europe. Fleets looking to find out more can contact Tim Ruhoff, founder of Fleetster at [email protected].
