Ford counts down to unveiling of Europe’s first Mustang

The new model will make its debut worldwide on four continents and in six cities, including Barcelona where a special “Go Further” event will introduce the new vehicles and technologies which will shape the future of Ford in Europe. This event will be hosted by Stephen Odell, president of Ford of Europe, Middle East and Africa, along with top members of the global and European executive team

Although technical details have not been announced yet, the engine line-up could include a 310bhp 2.3-litre four-cylinder EcoBoost turbo engine according to reports as well as a 500bhp 5.4-litre V8 model.

Prices are also unknown but a figure of around £35,000 is expected.

Production is expected to begin in late 2014.
