Geoforce integrates with Wialon to deliver ultra-rugged tracking to global telematics network

Geoforce has integrated its ultra-rugged asset tracking hardware with Wialon’s global telematics platform, giving providers access to intrinsically safe equipment monitoring for the world’s harshest environments.

The integration enables Wialon’s 2,700+ telematics service providers to access intrinsically safe, rugged hardware built for extreme, off-grid environments

The alliance enables Wialon’s 2,700+ telematics service providers to access intrinsically safe, rugged hardware built for extreme, off-grid environments, adding to the 4,100+ device models already supported on Wialon.

The integration connects Geoforce’s GT-series tracking devices directly into Wialon, allowing partners to deploy, configure and monitor Geoforce hardware alongside their existing fleets without adopting a separate system.

It’s a direct fit for partners serving oil & gas, mining, construction, agriculture, waste management and logistics customers, where standard telematics hardware struggles to perform.

Matthew Hofmeyr, director, global partnerships at Geoforce, said: “Wialon’s partner network reaches deep into industries where the physical environment is the biggest obstacle to good data: mining pits, active job sites, remote agricultural land, and waste and logistics operations that never see reliable cell coverage. This integration means Wialon partners no longer have to turn away those opportunities. They can offer their customers hardware that’s built to survive exactly those conditions, backed by a software platform their teams already know.”

Key benefits for Wialon partners include access to intrinsically safe, ruggedised hardware engineered for extreme temperatures, heavy vibration and hazardous-area operation.

The devices deliver long battery life and low-maintenance design suited to off-grid and remote deployments with little to no infrastructure.

The partnership also provides a rugged hardware option for operating environments that push standard tracking devices past their limits, backed by full compatibility with Wialon’s dashboards, reporting and fleet management workflows partners already use today.

“Partners choose hardware based on where fleets and equipment actually operate,” said Aliaksandr Kuushynau, head of Wialon. “Wialon runs across a wide range of industries and operating conditions, from city logistics to remote mining sites. Our ecosystem already supports 4,100+ device models, and Geoforce extends that range into hazardous zones and off-grid locations, with no change to the workflows partners run day to day.”
